Meet The Team

Dr. Christopher K. Scott
Founder & CEO of Physical Medicine & Performance

Doctor of Chiropractic (DC), Master of Science in Sports Medicine (MS), Bachelor of Science in Human Biology, Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting

A Hermiston native, Dr. Chris Scott has never been one to shy away from hard work. From his early days competing in high school and collegiate sports to over a decade of hands-on experience at Les Schwab Tire Center, Dr. Scott’s roots are grounded in dedication, grit, and service. Originally earning a degree in accounting, he eventually made a life-changing decision: to follow his passion for helping others by pursuing a career in chiropractic care.

After earning his Doctorate of Chiropractic, Dr. Scott returned to his hometown and spent the next eight years serving the Hermiston community as a physician at Good Shepherd Health Care System. In 2025, he founded Physical Medicine & Performance to deliver a higher standard of care, combining chiropractic treatment, rehabilitation, and performance therapy under one roof.

Dr. Scott’s journey into chiropractic was deeply personal. As a former running back and track athlete (sprints and pole vault), he endured numerous sports injuries. One of the most pivotal moments came after a serious motocross accident:

“I remember being in so much pain I could hardly walk,” he recalls. “A local chiropractor helped relieve my pain and encouraged me to keep riding. That experience shaped my future. I want to give others that same kind of relief and support.”

His first-hand experience with athletic and physical labor injuries gives him a unique perspective and deeper empathy for patients — from athletes and runners to dirt bike riders, weightlifters, and blue-collar workers.

Today, Dr. Scott is proud to help people move better, feel stronger, and live with less pain, using the same care, encouragement, and performance mindset that helped shape his own life.

Outside of work, Dr. Scott loves taking care of his plants, spending time with family and his cat (Biggs), downhill mountain biking in the summer, backcountry snowboarding in the winter, staying active with rucking and weight lifting, and traveling.
